Monday evening, commissioners approved changing the wording of a zoning ordinance for the proposed site across from Long's Park and near Park City Center. The change clears the way for developer High Real Estate to make a formal application to the township.

Some residents said the planned $100 million shopping center would create a traffic problem along Harrisburg Pike. Commissioners said the developer would need to do a traffic study and present a plan to improve roads.

The development would feature upscale shops, restaurants and a movie theater.
